Eight Great Reasons Men
Need a Skin Care Regimen
1) Smoother Shave
When a man doesn’t shave
properly or with the right products, he can get nicks, ingrown
hairs, shaving rash. First, use plenty of warm water to moisten the
skin and soften beard stubble. Then, use Noevir’s
Washing Foam to condition the whiskers, making them easier to
cut. For even smoother results, allow the Washing Foam to soak in
for at least three to five minutes. Then when it’s time to shave,
make sure you use a sharp blade and shave in the direction of the
whiskers, usually down on the cheeks and up on the neck. Don't use a
dull blade, which can contribute to ingrown hairs and razor rash.
AND change out your razor blade every 3-4 shaves.
2) Control your Oil
Men’s skin is generally
more oily than women’s. That means for men, there is more potential
for sebum (oil) buildup in the skin, causing clogged pores that can
lead to acne. Cleanse in the morning when you wake up at a minimum.
Oil glands over-produce during the night. By cleansing your skin
with a cleanser in the a.m., you’ll help clean out that sebum.
Really oily skin will do well using a cleanser with salicylic acid
found in Noevir’s
Clean Wash.
3) Get Rid of those Red
Bumps
Those ingrown hairs show
up as painful red bumps. Thick whisker hairs get stuck beneath the
skin, often trapping oil and bacteria and forming an infected cyst.
The best way to prevent ingrown hairs is by using the right shaving
products: a clean, sharp razor blade and a daily exfoliant to help
remove dead skin cells that can block proper hair growth. Try Noevir
Herbal Foaming Cleanser in either Normal to Dry or Normal to
Oily Formulations. For really oily skin try Noevir’s
Clean Wash.
4) Protect your Face
Use a sunscreen with sun
protection factor (SPF) of 15 or higher on any areas of the body
exposed to ultraviolet (UV) rays—even if you are only out for a
quick lunch on a cloudy day, or behind the wheel in the car heading
for work.
5) Get Rid of that Gray,
Dull Look
Because men’s skin is
thicker than women’s, it takes longer to renew itself, meaning that
dead cells don’t turn over as quickly. The result? Dull, blemished
skin that looks older than its years. Reach for that exfoliant to
remove dead skin cells. Noevir’s
Herbal Foaming Cleanser is helpful here as is Noevir
Cleansing Crystals
to take care of excess oil and dead skin cells.
6) Guys Need to Mask
Excess oil and other
impurities can clog and enlarge pores, leading to blackheads and
whiteheads. Noevir
Clay Masque dries in less than 5 minutes to help absorb excess oil
and draw out impurities. Add masking into your skincare regimen
after your cleansing step 2-3 times per week. Follow with your
toner.
7) Quit Irritating your
Skin
That daily scraping of
the razor can help slough off dead skin cells, but it can also
irritate the skin, leading to razor burn. Also, some of that foaming
gel in cans while inexpensive, actually clogs the pores. And to
complicate your life even further, some aftershaves contain alcohol,
which can dry out the skin. Noevir's
808 Skin Care Line gets down to the business of providing welcome relief
from the daily grind, scrape, nick and burn of regular shaving in
three easy steps. Its light, non-greasy formula doesn’t feel heavy
and is sure to convince even the most stubborn soap and water man.
For all men’s skin types except very dry or very oily.
8) Noevir Men are
Attractive
Younger-looking skin
doesn’t have to mean a bunch of time in front of the bathroom
mirror. A few minutes a day with Noevir can help subtract unwanted
years from, and add a confident healthy look to any man’s face.
