Q: Why do I always get pimples in
the same spot on my forehead?
A: Acne on your forehead probably has to do with rich hair
conditioners and oily styling products, both of which can clog pores. Acne on
your forehead may also have to do with you applying too much moisturizer to that
area. Wearing a baseball cap when you exercise can create a breeding ground for
bacteria. Breakouts around the mouth and nose are often caused by bacteria from
your hands or the telephone. Keep your fingers off your face, disinfect the
phone, and if you don't notice an improvement, see your dermatologist. The
problem could be hormonal. Breakouts around the mouth and nose may also be
caused from the fluoride in your toothpaste. Always wash your face after
brushing your teeth.
Tips for quick improvement:
-
Cleanse face after shampooing hair
(to get rid of shampoo residue).
-
ut ice on the breakouts (ice will reduce the
inflammation).
-
Never pick the breakouts (will cause scarring).
