Q. My elbows and knees are so discolored I am
embarrassed to show them. Any tips for making them look better?
A. With all the bending and rubbing that elbows and knees are
subjected to, it's no wonder they can look a bit battered. These
areas are two of the most abused and often neglected parts of the
body. These areas would respond positively to moisturizing at least
once a day.
Products with beta
hydroxy acids will help to soften the skin and gently exfoliate to
reveal a healthier looking skin. I recommend Noevir's
SD Hand & Body Treatment
for these especially dry areas. Regular exfoliation and moisturizing
right after taking your shower or bath will help minimize dryness
and prevent cracks and flakiness. Be sure to apply moisture to
elbows and knees.
Cleansing Crystals
will help to smooth skin and with gentle exfoliation.
Be sure to apply a
sunscreen like
Raysela Body Protector SPF 30
to these parts before you head outdoors. Sun exposure will cause the
areas to become dark again.
