Q: I have red marks on my cheeks
where I've had acne and I've tried everything. I get really big pimples that are
really deep in the skin and after the pus drains, it leaves a red mark or scar.
I have had microdermabrasion done. I get those pimples if I don't use proactiv.
But that doesn't make the red marks go away. Is my face or body not getting
something it needs? I am an active and healthy person. I tried Retin A before I
found proactiv, but that obviously makes it worse and it hurts. I'm not so much
worried about the pimples because I can control them with the proactiv, but the
hyperpigmentation doesn't heal. Can you recommend anything?
A: It is quite common to have acne scars or uneven
pigmentations after blemishes have been healed. With proper treatment, the
appearance of acne scars and the skin will improve dramatically.
A skincare regimen is very helpful to promote new
growth of skin cells. By loosening the bond between the dead skin cells, newer
cells are allowed to emerge for smoother and softer skin. (an added bonus is
that a skincare regimen helps to prevent clogged pores and minimizes the chance
for new blemishes to form).
Noevir's
Recovery Complex contains Beta Hydroxy Acid to gently remove dead skin cells
allowing clearer, undamaged skin to be exposed.
Massaging with your skin care product is another
important step in the treatment of acne scars because it helps to promote better
blood circulation which will help the skin to produce stronger collagen and
elastin-important components in the skin for beautiful texture and suppleness of
the skin. Often, the skin produces uneven amount of melanin around the inflamed
area of the skin. Noevir Blanc Nouveau C12 and
Blanc Nouveau C50
with Vitamin C derivative are special treatment products that address spots and
pigmentation.

Inner Care
Radiance will also help in the
treatment of acne scars, it is a product that was formulated to promote
healthier and younger looking skin from inside out.
Last but not least, proper protection to the UV
rays is very important as it triggers free-radicals that further damages the
skin.
It takes time and effort to make visible
differences. However, with continued use of the products and daily massage, it
will definitely help diminish the appearance of acne scars and pigmentations.
